Unytouch Manufacturing, formally known as Compudata Electronics was an integrator of GVision products since 2001. During this time, Compudata Electronics integrated and serviced these products for use in the North American market. As a result of the acquisition of CompuData Electronics by Unytouch Manufacturing in February of 2007, coupled with the lack of ongoing support by GVision in providing timely support of RMA documentation and or replacement parts to service their LCD monitors, we have opted to establish the following repair procedure for GVision monitors.

Objective
The purpose of the End of Service Life (EOSL) Policy is to clearly define UnyTouch Manufacturing Inc service and support policy for hardware products or warranty parts that have been discontinued. Any deviations from this policy require written approval from the Operations Manager, Customer Advocacy.

Product Discontinuation (End of Product Life)
UnyTouch considers a product discontinued when it can no longer obtain warranty parts from the supplier or be ordered from UnyTouch Manufacturing and it’s authorized distributors. For many discontinued products, Unytouch will provide recommendations on a migration strategy. An example of when UnyTouch may elect to discontinue product is when the technical capabilities of the product have reached the end of their useful life in the marketplace. In this case, the logical strategy is to work with the customers to shift their investment from further revision of discontinued product toward migration to comparable new products. In some cases, this may include an upgrade or exchange promotion at special costs

End of Service Life Policy
UnyTouch End of Service Life Policy becomes effective upon product discontinuation or parts availability. Once a product has been discontinued, renewals of subsequent service contracts may be limited to reduced levels of support, and the product may no longer be eligible for engineering escalations. This information will be communicated as appropriate to impacted customers and partners.

Policy Exceptions
There may be scenarios or requirements that exist where UnyTouch will need to provide support beyond the stated End of Service Life Policy (e.g., specific customer or geography considerations).
